Our Brand Story

Sleep-Ready Tents started as a field notebook full of pad sketches and headroom doodles. After too many cramped nights, clattery poles in the rain, and “four-person” tents that truly fit two (and the dog only if he curled up just right), we built a fit-first, sleep-quality lab. Our goal: turn tent shopping from guesswork and marketing into clear, human-facing answers—Will this fit my people, pets, and gear? How fast can we pitch it at night? Will it hold in the wind? Can we repair it?

Today we test tents for families, backpackers, festival campers, and winter explorers using the same repeatable methods: True Capacity Index (actual, mapped pad layouts), Space-to-Weight Ratio (comfort per ounce or kilogram), Pitch-Time tests (in daylight, rain, and headlamp-only), and Repairability scores.
